Adam in the bottom two? Danny Gokey is safe??
The only explanation, I’ve got for this is that Adam’s fans became a little too comfortable with just how good Adam really is, and then they forgot to vote. Remember, at the end of the day, this is all about the voting results, and if we don’t support Adam it is possible that someone else wins if they get their voters organized. That’s how Taylor Hicks ended up as “Idol” that year.
So here’s what I’m asking the Adam Lambert Nation… Next week, we bury the competition. Vote by text… vote on the phone… vote until your fingers fall off. Don’t take the chance of seeing Adam come close again, just because you figured it was so obvious that he was the best singer on American Idol.

I do believe we got a little complacent with our voting. I truly believed Adam had this competition in the bag, I was stunned by last nights votes, Adam’s talent far surpasses any other contestant on American Idol. He is the only reason I started watching American Idol this season in the first place.I havent kept up with AI in years. No other artist brings what he brings to a song. I wasnt comparing him to the other contestants last night, I was comparing him to the professionals, Jamie Foxx and Natalie Cole, he is in a class all of his own, I cannot figure out why I am drawn to this young mans voice, when he sings it touches me on an emotional level. Good luck Adam, I wish you all the best in the world

Man, I so wish I could vote from Canada! I love Adam every week and he is like a chameleon….he changes to suit the theme so beautifully. I can’t believe he was in the bottom 3 last night!!
He is so far ahead of the others. They pale in comparison. He has phenominal stage presence, excellent vocal range and a pureness in his tone that nobosy else has. if he loses out I will never watch Idol again. I am still upset about Taylor Hicks winning that year. We have got to save him. Go Adam!!!!

Adam has such compelling presence, extraordinary talent and ability to connect on raw emotional level. I was floored that he was in the bottom two, I was prepared to stop watching the show if he had lost - it would have been inexplicable. His being in the bottom two is a statement about the viewers and voters - not a good one.

I’m sorry but maybe everyone doesn’t like his constant screaming in just about every song he sings. I admit, he can sing but I am so passed the days of Kiss. Does he really have to scream and stick his tongue out when he does. Plus, this show is to find the underdogs and the people that wouldn’t normally have a chance to make it. This guy has been acting and singing for years, why isn’t he already out there with a contract?

Adam is good sometime and is bad sometimes like ring of fire, born to be wild, his audition and yesterday

Vote for Adam. Only ADAM please, no more second favorite. Next week, Allsion should go home based on her previous record. If you vote her, possibility Adam will take her place again in the bottom. America, do not let the amateurs take over & beat the extremely talented guy.

I think Adam’s fans were a bit complacent since we know he is the best..we must vote, vote and vote. Do not split votes to choose second place..vote for the best..Adam. He is not screaming/screeching..Feeling Good he was controlling the D note, which is absolutely awesome. And his tongue is using the technique to sing those notes. My mother is an ex-opera singer and she says his voice is among the greats. He is the total package…vocals and performance level. Adam is the only reason I am watching AI every week, otherwise it would be a ballad snooze fest.

Denise, I appreciate your view but please don’t believe Adam is the only finalist or contestant who has performing experience. I do believe Allison (and I love her, don’t get me wrong!) won $50K in a singing competition fairly recently and one or both of the other guys still in the hunt have singing experience as well.
That being said, I think Allison screams a little bit too and the words even run together some. And I can listen to Danny OK but the ‘dancing’ and the smirk both have to go for me. Not real sure about Kris but he is awful cute.
It looks like they all have a great list of songs from which to choose–I hope they choose good ones and I’m sure they’ll all do their best!
And FWIW, we (me and my husband)really didn’t follow AI any except for a couple of years ago because of Elliot Yamin (he’s from our area, but we still think Chris Daughtry should have won), Adam is the reason we’re watching this year.

Denise, Allison won the Telemundo singing competition in 2006 (received $50K), the final song for her was Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’. So she has singing experience. And as far as the song choice goes, Bonnie Tyler kind of had a scratchy screamy voice. But I personally like it, and I like Kiss too.
I’m still looking up info on the other Idol top 10. There’s at LEAST one more besides Allison and Adam who have singing experience.

I am an Adam addict. I can’t get enough. I’ve never connected to an AI contestant enough to vote, but I will voting for my Adam - repeatedly until the polls close.
