The only explanation, I’ve got for this is that Adam’s fans became a little too comfortable with just how good Adam really is, and then they forgot to vote. Remember, at the end of the day, this is all about the voting results, and if we don’t support Adam it is possible that someone else wins if they get their voters organized. That’s how Taylor Hicks ended up as “Idol” that year.
So here’s what I’m asking the Adam Lambert Nation… Next week, we bury the competition. Vote by text… vote on the phone… vote until your fingers fall off. Don’t take the chance of seeing Adam come close again, just because you figured it was so obvious that he was the best singer on American Idol.
OK… tell the truth. It looks like this. Matt goes home next and then Kris Allen and then Danny Gokey. I might have it backwards between Danny and Kris, but Adam OWNS this show. Vegas Night? He rules again.
Adam Lambert sang Michael Buble - Feeling Good for the Top 5 show. It was another rock solid performance.
Check it out
Wouldn’t it just be more fun if they made one final change in the rules for this year? Just send everybody home, and use the time to allow Adam to continue to surprise and entertain us. I’m sure he would blow us away if they decided to have opera night.
As if you had any doubt, Adam knocked it out of the park, again. This guy is still leaps ahead of his competition for the overall performance factor. He’s the best singer. He has the most individual vocal style. And he just gets it. This week, once again, he made a disco song sound like something we’ve never heard before. “If I can’t Have You” as a ballad. You just know that Adam was the number one vote getter again this week.
But here’s a reminder… Don’t get too comfortable. If you stop voting for Adam just because he’s clearly the best, then there’s always the chance that someone could sneak by him with an organized campaign. Vote EVERY week.
On American Idol last night the theme was disco night. Adam Lambert sang ‘If I Can’t Have You’ by ‘The Bee Gees’. He truly changed the feel of this classic Disco era song, and he ended giving a great performance.
The Top 7 on American Idol competed again last night after Matt Giraud was saved last week by the judges. Since Matt Giraud was saved that means that 2 people will be voted off the show tonight. I think we can safely assume that Adam Lambert will not be one of them after another solid performance last night.

Tomorrow night David Archuleta will be on the American Idol results show.
Last night’s theme was Music from the Movies. The remaining Top 7 American Idol contestants had to pick a song that has appeared on a Movie soundtrack. Adam Lambert sang Steppenwolf - Born To Be Wild. It was a great performance, and a bold song choice. Born to be Wild is one of the most famous rock songs of all time, but Lambert pulled it off with his incredible vocal range.
Since this weeks theme was ‘Movie Week’ the special guest was Quentin Tarantino. Tarantino is the famous director from Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs and the Kill Bill movies. Tarantino is an odd choice considering his lack of a musical background.
Adam Lambert performance was as solid as ever. He is a true entertainer who has no fear in regards to trying new things. Last night he was dancing and flying around the stage like a true rockstar.

There was a slight change this week. Only two judges gave comments because of the disaster which took place last week where they ran 8 minutes too long.
Judges Comments:
“Adam take it all in my dear. The reason Adam that you’re shaking up this whole competition is that you care to dance in the path of greatness. You do. And I’m gonna tell you a fortune rewards the brave, and you are one of the bravest contestants I’ve ever witnessed. Ever! I think you are fantastic!”
“Adam, I think you’ve got to learn how to express yourself more. I think vocally incredible. Downside of that performance for me it was a little bit like watching the rocky horror picture show in parts. It is one of the biggest rock songs of all time so there’s going to be a huge percentage of the population that love that. There’s also going to be another side will absolutely despise it. I don’t think that performance will be as popular as you’re one last week. Just my opinion.”
Tomorrow night Jennifer Hudson and Miley Cyrus will be on the American Idol results show.
Here is what the other contestants sang:
Allison Iraheta
Aerosmith - I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing
Anoop Desai
Bryan Adams - Everything I Do
Matt Giraud
Bryan Adams - To Really Love a Woman
Danny Gokey
Lionel Richie and Diana Ross - Endless Love
Last night Adam Lambert was on fire on American Idol. The theme for the Top 8 show was, ‘The Year They Were Born’. The contestants had to choose a song that was released the year they were born. Adam Lambert was born on January 29, 1980 and he decided to sing, ‘Mad World’ by Tears for Fears. It was an outstanding performance, and the song choice was perfect. This song allowed him to show-off his incredible vocal range.

It was an outstanding performance which earned him a standing ovation by Simon Cowell. Very few contestants have ever given a performance which caused Simon to give them a standing ovation. In fact all the judges gave Adam a standing ovation. Well done Adam!
Judges comments:
Adam was the last contestant to perform, and they were running out of time so only Simon Cowell gave any comments.
“Adam, the bad news is we are running out of time. The good news is I’m the only one who’s going to be talking, and I think words are unnecessary, but I want to give you a standing ovation.”
Adam Lambert is without question safe from elimination tonight. He was amazing last night, and it is safe to say that he stole the show.
Here is what the other contestants sang:
Danny Gokey - Born on April 4, 1980
The Temptations - Stand By Me
Kris Allen - Born on June 21, 1985
Don Henley - All She Wants To Do Is Dance
Last night the Top 9 on American Idol competed once again to see who will be sent home this week. The theme was itunes Top 100. Adam Lambert sang ‘Play that Funky Music’ by ‘Wild Cherry’. Once again Adam was great! He wasn’t as dominant as he was last week, however it was still a very solid performance.
